Lost for words
Wall-painting, graphite drawings and poems on paper, custom frames

For “All that lies between” at 2023 Drawing Triennial 2023, I presented a wall painting and four custom frames holding poems and graphite drawings on paper. These sculptural frames are inspired by floating, twisted and bent sheets of paper - shapes I have found conceptually interesting for some years now.
Each framed work is a meditation on one of four words: I, you, Other and mother. This has been an important work, bringing together poetry, spatial use of typography, diagrammatic drawing, and playful, experimental frames.
